  • Overview

    The primary function of the WorkLink Manager/ Business Development Lead for Workers Compensation is to direct the WorkLink strategy for marketing, networking and relationship-building for the practice.  The role is responsible for assisting the practice with name recognition, increasing workers’ compensation referrals and revenue, and facilitating client relationships through marketing and service programs while developing new partnerships and nurturing key customer relationships.

    Responsibilities

    • Grow Resurgens’ workers comp business by increasing referrals and developing relationships with key decision makers within the workers’ compensation community
    • Facilitate development, innovation, and implementation of the WorkLink marketing plan
    • Develop a sensible WorkLink marketing budget in conjunction with Director of Marketing
    • Serve as the primary work comp liaison to all medical, business, and insurance professionals including in-person visits to deliver WorkLink and practice information and promotional items
    • Create and maintain referral database to track referrals and identify new leads
    • Work in conjunction with 100+ physicians and managers to identify and attract potential new referral sources, maintain existing relationships, and address any local concerns
    • Communicate progress on marketing plan and strategic initiatives to physicians and managers on consistent basis
    • Plan and coordinate community events, i.e. speaking engagements, lunch-n- learns, and educational seminars to promote WorkLink physicians and services.
    • Design and develop marketing collateral materials such as promotional items, brochures, business ads, business cards, forms, etc.
    • Attend relevant industry seminars, conferences, networking events, Chamber of Commerce meetings, etc to increase practice name recognition and solicit referrals
    • Explore opportunities to increase workers’ compensation percentage in the practice reaching beyond primary referral sources to include contacting employers, insurers, and attorneys.
    • Manage complaints and resolution with various adjusters, case managers, and attorneys by liaising with our Operations team and physicians as necessary
    • Attend and lead required management meetings and professional development activities, i.e. Worklink Committee meetings, WC educational courses, steering committee meetings, and relevant charitable boards, i.e. Kids Chance.
    • Travel throughout the Georgia market as necessary to pursue marketing and networking opportunities

    Qualifications

    EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

    • Business or marketing-related degree or equivalent professional qualification to include a minimum of 4 years in healthcare workers’ compensation marketing
    • Relevant experience is acceptable with a minimum of four years’ healthcare and workers’ compensation experience
    • Relevant workers’ compensation and healthcare industry knowledge

    REQUIREMENTS

    • Reliable transportation and a valid Georgia driver’s license
