  • Overview

    The primary function of the Outreach Coordinator is to travel throughout the market promoting Resurgens Orthopaedics to various Primary Care Physicians, direct and indirect referral sources, and affiliates for specific outreach efforts. The Outreach Coordinator will assist the marketing team to achieve business goals, increase name recognition, referrals, practice revenue, and facilitate client development through marketing and service programs while maintaining key customer relationships. This role will have overall market visibility with emphasis in the Northwest & Southwest Metro Atlanta regions.


    • Support development and implementation of regional marketing plans.
    • Liaison to medical, business, and insurance professionals including personal visits to distribute practice information and promotional items.
    • Plan and coordinate speaking engagements, lunch-n-learns and education seminars for physicians, as well as identify and execute new opportunities for the local communities.
    • Design and develop collateral materials such as brochures, newsletters, web pages, business cards, letterhead, announcements, promotional flyers
    • Setup seminars for marketing purposes to increase name recognition, referrals, and practice revenue
    • Attend required management and team meetings
    • Track referrals and assess marketing activities, reporting results back to the team on a regular basis
    • Coordinate public affairs and communications efforts, to include public relations and community outreach.
    • Represent the company at various community events, health fairs, and/or business meetings to promote the company, including events affiliated with the Resurgens Charitable Foundation when appropriate.



    • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or Communications preferred
    • Relevant healthcare industry knowledge preferred
    • Extensive Event Planning experience
    • Sales experience


    • Comfortable working in a fast-paced ever-changing environment
    • Results oriented with ability to prioritize organizational objectives and meet deadlines
    • Ability to set marketing goals and strategy, but willingness to be hands-on
    • Superior interpersonal and relationship building skills, with an extremely outgoing personality
    • Creative and innovative approach to marketing, adaptable to change
    • Self-starter, highly organized and able to work with team members
    • Strong leadership skills, positive customer service spirit, and willingness to do what it takes to get the job done
    • Understanding physician motivations
    • Ability to gather information/leads and follow through to close business growth opportunities
    • Experienced in relationship marketing
    • Proficient in MS Office Suite


    • Ability to work independently or in a team environment
    • Requires travel throughout the community, reliable transportation, and a valid driver’s license are required
    • Appropriate car insurance coverage
